Classroom review games with buzzers
Review day goes better when it’s a competition and everyone can buzz.

- Category board: Jeopardy-style, one category per unit.
- Buzz relay: teams rotate who holds the buzzer each question.
- Steal it: wrong answer passes to the next buzz in line for half points.
- Lightning round: 60 seconds, as many buzz-ins as possible.
- Quiz bowl: tossup questions, then a bonus for the team that got it.
Keep everyone involved
Give every student a buzzer instead of picking volunteers. With phones or class iPads, up to 100 students can be in one room. Show the scoreboard after each round and mix up teams each time you play.
Fairness matters to students
Students will challenge every close call. A buzzer that shows the order and the time gap ends the debate in a second, and flags true ties instead of guessing.
