A buzzer round for the pub quiz

Put the four-letter code on the screen. Every table is in before you finish your intro.

Built for a loud room

The room code is big enough to read across a bar, and there’s a QR code for anyone who would rather scan. Players don’t need the bar Wi-Fi; cellular works fine.

If a phone locks or drops signal, it reconnects on its own and keeps its score, so a dead zone by the door doesn’t cost a team the night.

Score by team

Put every table into Red, Blue or Green, or run individual players. Points roll up into team totals on the scoreboard, ready to read out between rounds.

Host screen showing a four-letter room code

How it works

  1. 1Open a room

The host taps Host a Game and gets a four-letter code, plus a QR code and a share link.

  2. 2Friends join

Players open the app on their own iPhone or iPad, type the code and a name. No shared Wi-Fi needed.

  3. 3First press wins

The host opens the round. Buzzes are ranked by when each phone was pressed.

Questions

How many players can join?

Up to 100 in one room.

Do I need a TV or projector?

No. The host’s phone or iPad shows the code and the buzz order. A screen just makes the code easier to share.

What does it cost a weekly host?

Players always join free. Your first night is free; after that a host needs Pro.
