Game Show Buzzer turns every phone in the room into a game show buzzer. One person hosts, everyone else joins from their own iPhone or iPad with a four-letter code, and the app shows who buzzed first.
Buzzes are ordered by when each phone was pressed, measured against a synced clock, so a slow connection doesn’t cost anyone their place. True ties are flagged as too close to call. The host marks answers right or wrong, a wrong answer passes to the next player in line, and a live scoreboard keeps team and player totals. Rooms hold up to 100 players, and phones don’t need to share a Wi-Fi network.
The original app launched in 2017 and was used in classrooms and training sessions for years before it stopped working. Version 2.0 is a full rewrite focused on one thing: multiplayer that stays connected.
