How to play Family Feud at home

Run the survey

Send 8 to 10 questions to friends who won’t be playing (“Name something you bring to the beach”). Tally the answers and keep the top 5 to 8 for each question, with how many people gave each one.

Set up two teams

Split the room into two families of 3 to 5. Have each player join a buzzer app on their phone and put them on a team so points add up for the family.

The face-off

• One player from each team steps up.
• Read the question and open the buzzers.
• First buzz answers. If it’s the top answer, their team takes control.
• Otherwise the other player gets a shot at a higher answer.

Control, strikes and the steal

The team in control guesses the remaining answers one player at a time. Three wrong guesses and the other team gets one chance to steal all the points on the board.
